 BEAU BOOKBINDING IN MARYLEBONE - VISIT AT DAUNT BOOKS.

Daunt books is simply a beautiful bookshop with a wonderful selection of classic fiction, poetry and travel books. With a relaxed and calming atmosphere coupled the beautiful Edwardian architecture of the building made browsing their many books all the more enjoyable. A large part of the shop was organised with a little section dedicated to a country with history and travel books as well as well fiction carefully selected.

The shop almost seems curated with how the books flow from subject to subject, and I would recommend Daunt to anyone interested in travelling the world inside one shop.

Beau Bookbinding in Clerkenwell Road Magma Book Shop..

Just a short walk away from our bindery is a lovely little shop full of geekery books to explore. Magma is the name and a beautifully curated selection of books, magazines, posters, t-shirts and design products is why I came! With a selection of books on graphic design, typography, architecture, interactive design, illustration, fashion and photography Magma is the place to go to find a comprehensive book for any creative subject. No wonder Magma is such a popular source of inspiration!

I would recommend the amazing selection of magazines for keeping up-to-date with contemporary art, design and culture. They also have a lovely selection of children’s books that have been beautifully illustrated as well as old favorites that are guaranteed to inspire any imagination. The Moomins is one of my favorites!

So if you have a curiosity for brilliant books exploring creative topics, be sure to visit the one-stop-shop that is Magma to quench your design thirst. Magma is a truly encouraging place to be and would break the most stubborn of design-block.

Beau Bookbinding at the Barbican..

With a beautiful view of London I am about to indulge in a reading frenzy at the Barbican library. Reflective of its dramatic roots the Barbican’s library has a great collection of books specialising in the performing arts making this a fantastic resource for music, theatre and culture.

Having said that, the library is also a welcoming haven for all book lovers with a wonderful variety of fiction and non-fiction books to choose from. It was hard to choose what to read in this fantastic display of 60’s nostalgia books so I think I’ll have to sit back and enjoy some serious reading time.

The tranquil reading environment is reason enough alone to visit the Barbican library – be sure to take advantage of London’s amazing resources.
